- 1/4 cup gochujang
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp ginger peeled and minced
- 3 garlic cloves minced
- 1 tbsp toasted sesame oil
- 1/4 cup low sodium soy sauce
- 1 bunch green onions sliced
- 2 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- 2 lbs chicken wings bone-in
Preheat your grill to 400°F. Combine all the ingredients but for the green onions and chicken wings into a small bowl.
In a spacious bowl, generously coat the chicken wings with 1/4 to 1/2 of the sauce, ensuring they are fully coated. Reserve the remaining sauce for later use. Proceed with immediate cooking or marinate for 45 minutes or overnight to enhance the flavors.
Place the marinated chicken wings on the grill and grill them for approximately 18 to 40 minutes, or until they reach an internal temperature of 165˚F. Remember to rotate the wings every 10 to 15 minutes for uniform cooking and optimal flavor.
After cooking, transfer the wings to a spacious heat-safe bowl and generously coat them with an additional amount of the sauce. Feel free to save any remaining sauce for future recipes if desired. This extra step ensures a flavorful and saucy coating on the wings.
Garnish with some green onion slices, serve, and enjoy!
