Ingredients

  • 1 wheel of brie (about 8-10 ounces)
  • 1/4 cup fig jam
  • 1-2 fresh figs sliced
  • fresh thyme sprigs
  • 1/4 cup nuts (optional, such as chopped walnuts or pecans)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Place the brie wheel on a baking dish or oven-safe serving platter.

  • Spread a generous layer of fig jam on top of the brie. Arrange the freshly sliced figs over the fig jam.

  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-15 minutes, or until the brie is softened and gooey. You can finish it off by broiling it on high for 3-5 minutes for a more baked appearance if desired (optional).
  • Remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
  • Sprinkle fresh thyme leaves over the figs for an aromatic touch. If desired, scatter nuts of your choice over the top for added crunch.
