- 1 cup vegan dark chocolate finely chopped
- 1/2 cup full-fat coconut milk
- 2 tbsp maple syrup or agave nectar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- a pinch of salt
In a saucepan, heat the coconut milk over medium heat until it starts to simmer. Be careful not to let it boil.
1/2 cup full-fat coconut milk
Place the finely chopped dark chocolate in a heatproof bowl.
1 cup vegan dark chocolate
Pour the hot coconut milk over the chopped chocolate. Let it sit for a minute to allow the heat to melt the chocolate.
Gently stir the mixture until the chocolate is completely melted and the mixture is smooth.
Add in the maple syrup or agave nectar, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Stir well to combine.
2 tbsp maple syrup or agave nectar, 1 tsp vanilla extract, a pinch of salt
Allow the ganache to cool slightly before using it. You can use it as a frosting, drizzle it over cakes or desserts, or let it cool completely and use it as a truffle filling.
